We started Myra because we kept seeing the same thing on job sites: rushed work, hidden shortcuts, and homeowners left guessing. We set out to be the opposite.
Our story
Small by design. Careful by habit.
Myra Electric is a Kelowna-based crew of licensed electricians serving the Okanagan Valley. We work on everything from century-old Rutland bungalows to lakefront new builds and winery tasting rooms — and we approach every one with the same attention.
We have deliberately stayed small. It means the people who quote your job are the people who show up to do it, and that the standard you see in our photos is the standard you get in your home.
Our reputation is built on referrals from homeowners, builders and designers who have worked with us and would do it again. That is the only kind of growth we are interested in.

Every job is permitted where required, inspected, and completed to the Canadian Electrical Code. We never cut corners behind a wall.

All work is completed to the current Canadian Electrical Code as adopted in British Columbia, with permits filed through Technical Safety BC where required.

Myra Electric operates as a licensed electrical contractor and carries liability coverage appropriate for residential and commercial work.

Local expertise
We know Okanagan homes because we live in them.
From aluminum wiring in 1970s Rutland and Glenmore homes to the demands of new hillside builds in Black Mountain and the Upper Mission, local housing stock has its own quirks. We have seen most of them.
